I've been through Black Dragon over a dozen times, I never realized there was a noteworthy natural cave, any idea where it is?

There are several mines in the area, could it be your source confused it with a mine?

Would love to know more!

I now have a bit more info on the cave. From what I understand this is a cave and not a mine... I am going to check it out this weekend.

Its kind of a cave. What it is, I think, is a deep alcove that had a front end cave in which blocked the deep alcove off, makiing it kind of a cave. Its deep.

Not sure its the same cave, but, this one is at the back of the huge alcove to the looker's left of the black dragon pictograph. There's a kind of rock wall that has a bit of a break in it on the top side, and, you crawl down through that, then go back, and back, and back.

Found a Fisher's beer can in there. There's, ahem, other "stuff" in there too, I'd imagine. I can imagine its a sensitive place, archeologically speaking.

Take headlamps...and trip report when you get back!
