Antivirus 2009

I have seen and removed that one from one of the PC's at work it was antivirus 2008, not 2009 but same thing I downloaded a program from download.com that got rid of it, I think it was AVAST but don't remember that was several months ago, it wasn't a hard one to get rid of. It is amazing what people will click on just because a screen says "click here".

I tried to get rid of my Antivirus 2008 (thanks to my boy clicking anything on the screen) with Avast, but that crap screwed me up even worse.

Now I can't get rid of Avast.

Antivirus programs suck, IMO.

They're worse than the viruses.

Free antivirus programs suck. I've been happy with Kaspersky for years. Others rely on Norton. Others on something else.

Sure it was the boy, JK I don't remember for sure if it was AVAST, that is just what comes to mind I removed the program right after it removed the virus. I will have to look tomorrow and see if I kept anything on how I did it, but I am sure if you follow 'beechs link it will be the same way to remove 2008.

that one was easy to get rid of... compared to a w32.beagle

that one is just annoying

a w32.beagle is hell. it disables all virus programs installed and destroys the files of the virus software as you install it. for me it also disabled my internet and removed show hidden files and folders from folder options. and runs the cpu at 100% so i had to delete everything in command prompt

the only virus i've gotten in the past 2 years was the w32.beagle. all my friends some how get the antivirus 2009 one.

also norton and mcafee suck, they are like mini viruses. use nod32 or avg.

I am sure if you follow 'beechs link it will be the same way to remove 2008.

...That would mean that I have to trust one of Beech's links. His powers haven't always been used for the purpose of good (Rick Roll). :lol8:

LOHA, it was AVAST I used, but if that's not working for you try looking on this site, I have used them to find out how to remove other virus'
