I know you want everything political in the political forum so if you insist on moving this do so, but I am puting it here to remind everybody to get out and vote.

I don't want any discusion on any of the candiates for anything in this thread.
If it gets out of hand go ahead and move it.

Just a poll and explanation and nothing more.

I voted today on the way home from work, I did so to beat the crowds and it worked I only had one person in front of me :2thumbs:

My ballot is already in. My votes have been cast.

Early voting beats the hell out of waiting in a long line in an elementary school.

I'm out of town on business on election day, so I had to vote early.

i think it's a great idea to remind and encourage folks to vote.

if it devolves into politics, then it'll be moved.

I kind of like seeing what my community is up to on election day. Plus, I love to chastise those who push brochures on me. I actually made a person cry who was pressing Ollie North information on me back when he was running for Senate (he lost). Too much fun!

My mother-in-law is the election judge at the Byng fire station. There isn't a line there anyway.

As far as Oliver North is concerned, I have met him, and he publicly trashed my then-girlfriend for writing in her column that it was wrong for the local church to pay him, a convicted felon, $20,000 for his appearance.

I'll be voting on election day. Every time I've gone there the place has been deserted, with a few senior citizens staffing the place. I saved my "I Voted" sticker from two years ago and I'll be wearing it this year, so I'll have to see if the old ladies say anything about it. :haha:

Went before work. Had to wait about 5 minutes before it was 7:00 and had just a few people in front of me. Took till about 7:20 to get out of there.

Feels great to be done with the whole thing. Hopefully good will come of it in the end.

There was no line at my polling place. My wife and I were the only voters there, and had our choice of the six empty voting machines.

No line where I went. Wrong, there was a line of parents with tons of kids. That's when I realized I was heading for a daycare place instead of polling place. Wrong door, heh.

Walked in, signed my name, got my card, and had my pick of six machines, then I was outta there.

The Black Panthers weren't at my polling place either.

50% of Colorado did mail in or early voting. I love mail in even though I hand deliver it to the clerk's office. No panthers but maybe there could be some cougars in line? Might have to go see.
