I can't imagine having a 13 foot ANYTHING as a pet. If it's bigger than me - we have a problem. Obviously, she had a big problem.

No doubt:

13 foot python- $1,000.
Large cage- $100
Getting rid of the nagging wife- Priceless.

Not sure if it was her pet. When I tell my pets to stop scratching the furniture, for example, they listen. Pets listen to their owners, unless they're not pets but wild animals, heh.

Don't even get me started on that ignorant comment. Just because you don't like snakes doesn't mean they are not pets. Dogs, etc kill their owners as well. Sure it's rare, so are cases like this.

I'm guessing you also don't like it when people say soccer isn't a real sport based on their ignorant reasoning right? Yet many make a weak case that it isn't...

Come on Kent, I meant it as a joke. I fully consider snakes and other creatures as pets. Although a 13-foot pyton I consider a dangerous pet, heh.

And yes, morons who say that soccer is not a real sport are ignorant, to say the least, heh.

The only person I feel sorry for is the snake. Obviously this woman was stupid enough to think she could shove an antibiotic medication down the throat of her 13 foot python while all alone. The snake was just protecting itself b/c it wasn't feeling well because of an infection and she made the mistake of grabbing him under his head, along his neck which gave the snake perfect opportunity to start the strangulation process. A zoo professional said it would normally take 3 grown men to give a snake of this size a medication. :ne_nau: I don't know. I guess maybe if she were a more informed exotic pet owner, then she'd still be alive. :2thumbs:

Probably going to cost the taxpayers a fortune to prosecute this case.

My bad, just a reflection of me defending snakes and the negative stereotype placed on them by a lot of ignorant people.

Don't get me wrong, they're no dog or cat. Not the pet for everyone. But there is a lot of unbased fear and stupid statement made when it comes to snakes.

And you know I chose soccer since you know I love the sport as well.
