One day after returning from 4 days in the San Rafael Swell, Goblin Valley and the Paiute (Richfield area), my 10 year old decided he wanted to ATV/Tent camp in the west desert.
The temps dropped to 25F, coyotes were howling all around, ice formed on the inside of the tent - but it was all good fun.
We were as high as we could get (the peak just south of Nutty Putty), with views South toward Erda, East toward Provo/Spanish Fork and North toward Lehi.

We cooked up some Chicken Noodle Soup. For breakfast, we made some instant coffee and dehydrated Scrambled Eggs & Ham! Yummy! :haha:
It sure was cold this morning. We had so much ice (from the condensation) forming that we had to get a big fire going at 0600 just to keep our toes from getting frost-bite. I've never had so many muscle spasms in one night...

Cool. I recognized the terrain for sure. I have been all over those parts. I wouldn't want to spend the night unprepared this time of year. :eek2:

Awesome. :cool2:
The tent trailer is big enough for both of you? That is pretty cool. Makes me a bit envious.

Little Moab is such a fun place to ride. It's especially one of my favorite places in the winter because the mountains are to covered with snow. Where did you get that awesome trailer tent I love it?
