Rooster-

If I could, I'd like to make myself look like an idiot for a second (comes pretty naturally). It looks like you may know something about these kinds of birds. Can you tell me if the following are grouse as well? I took them earlier this year and I've been wondering. I don't like the pics as well as yours but I am curious. Again, really cool pictures. I love wildlife shots.

wow guys. I really like both your shots for different reasons.

If memory serves, these little buggars are pretty skiddish and don't much like company. Any idea what the focal length was when these were shot?

My three were shot between 155 (first one) and 300mm (last one).
