I'm a huge Red Sox fan, but if the Rays had been playing anyone else I would have been rooting for them (even though their manager drives me crazy).

I'll be pulling for the Rays in the World Series. Can't stand Ryan Howard.

You ask why I'm happy....I've lived her in Connecticut all my life. Massachusetts is a neighbor as well as New York. I'm sandwiched in between. Now, before Boston won THAT World Series, you never saw any Boston paraphernalia on any car here in Connecticut, none. Since they one THAT game, all of a sudden, the Fair Weather Fans came out of the woodwork. Now, from the central to the north/northwest this State is Pro Sox, everybody else stayed true and are Yankee fans :haha:

So, screw those Fair Weather Fans, I'm glad the Sox got beat. And if you have ever been to Boston, they have some pretty strong fans with vulgar dispositions :nod: So, again, hahahahahahaha :haha:

My stepson Jason, a life long Phillies fan had endured 15 years of his team not making it to the fall classic. Yesterday he endured 7 hours of back surgery. Last night in the midst of a morphine fog whenever a Phillie did something good Jay would slowly raise an arm and render a philibuster of a fist pump.

Maybe tonite the Rays will score a bunch early and he'll be able to get some rest. but then again there's an off day tomorrow.
