Canyons from Richfield Utah & Partners

Was wondering where some good canyons are driving out of Richfield, Utah for this weekend. Or even a cool place to hike in the area. Will be visiting family in the area. Want to try a new area out too. Swell, Roost, Capital Reef, North Wash, etc??? Might be going solo so I would love an easy canyon (to get there & not too technical), especially since I

How far you willing to travel? Capitol Reef canyons are probably two hours from Richfield, some in the Swell could be accessed too, but maybe a little farther away.

Can't think of anything closer than probably 90 minutes though. Pandora's is not too far, but it is a looong day.

Hiking I've done down there was right out the northwest side of town, up into what we called Cottonwood Canyon. It was ok. Might get some fall color though. Growing up, we always hiked in Capitol Reef when we were down there.

Zero G is probably only two hours away too. Maybe 2 and a quarter. Super fun, very pretty, nice intro to the area, not scary, and would be okay to do solo. One move out of a pothole that is not hard, if you can do a pull up.

Keep in mind, this weekend is the opener for the deer hunt. Local hikes might be crowded. wear some orange.
I'd suggest Capital Reef for hikes, really not too far from Richfield.
