Canyoneering Seasons

Was wonder what the seasons are for the different locations (Swell, Roost, Moab, North Wash, Cedar Mesa, beyond Utah, Phoenix area canyons, etc, etc) to go canyoneering? What places are good to go in the months for winter, spring, summer, and fall.

Was wonder what the seasons are for the different locations (Swell, Roost, Moab, North Wash, Cedar Mesa, beyond Utah, Phoenix area canyons, etc, etc) to go canyoneering? What places are good to go in the months for winter, spring, summer, and fall.

This is rough, but kinda how I've played it, with of course many exceptions.

Late Spring, Early Summer - Escalante, Swell, Roost, etc...

Peak Summer - Zion

Late Summer & Early Fall - Escalante, Swell, Roost

Fall and Winter - North Wash and Cedar Mesa

Can't speak to Arizona. Many of them are wet, and they are COLD because the snowmelt, so I'd say mainly warmer months.
