That's one heck of a first snow :eek2: You would figure a light dusting would happen for people to adjust :lol8:

You're just used to the northeast version of the first snow of the season where the flakes melt before they hit the ground. But at least you have the bone chilling winds to look forward to :2thumbs:

Wow! I knew they had predicted it for Wyoming but that's pretty far south. A moose comes through town and now early snow. What does it mean...Bones....what.... does it mean?

:haha: Yes, it was quite a heavy snow...no, I dont like snow, but it was pretty though. No wind and 36 degrees so all the roads are melted, grass is still covered, trees are clear & it'll all be gone by tomorrow..........and I have cruiser bikes & bmx bikes coming in...go figure :ne_nau:

I liked winter '04/'05. It snowed twice and rained the rest of the time but there were over 200" at the resorts. Let's have that kind of winter again. All in favor? :2thumbs:

If you haven't figured it out, there are two seasons in Wyoming. Winter and July. It's not so different from Utah. We have two seasons too, winter and construction.

I am hoping for a winter like last year. Can't wait to break out the igloo maker. I want to build a few up in the hills and have an overnight bash.

:haha: I could put up a sail and come visit y'all REALLY quick :eek2: and it hasn't let up one bit. I'll have to charge up my camera battery to get more vid of all the destruction in town I saw when I went to the rec center for a workout. I guess people here are kinda like Alaskans...the rec center was very busy, most of the equipment was full & the weightroom was a hoppin', the pool was full and my steamroom was even busy...go figure that the hardcore people would still be out and about. :ne_nau:
...and Bo, I don't EVEN want to know what the weather is like down there! :lol8:

You'll be glad to hear that the weather in Moab for the race this last weekend turned out ok. It was windy as heck on Friday and Saturday until about 8:00 pm (I've still got sand in my ears). After that, it cleared up and got cold, but no rain or snow to speak of. I'm glad the weather people were wrong about that one.

Yay for you! I lost the motor in my furnace this week. In the mornings, it is a chilly 60 degrees in my house, and by bedtime, it is almost 70. It wouldn't bother me too much if I didn't have my son here.

I just use the oven to make dinner - I haven't had to turn on the fireplace yet.

Good thing it happend early in the season. I can wait until the weekend (and payday) to get a new motor.
