The band intends to announce additional touring in 2009 early next year.

I went through the same excitement and depression (On sale October 18, only 14000 tickets available each night in VA. I read another article saying that every hotel in town is already booked for the nights of the show) and now (thanks to that same sentence, which is why I highlighted it) I have some hope of seeing them. A full tour seems unlikely, but Red Rocks, Vegas, or The Gorge seem possible...

Anyway, worst case scenario there will be a new live recording, maybe even a DVD...
