Friday September 26 found us in the North Wash area with the Highland High School Science and AP Environmental Club to do a little Flora/Fauna/geology appreciation and of course some canyoneering thrown in for fun. After a run thru Blarney we went looking for something short and sweet to finish up the day. Fortunately for us we had with us the brand spanking new beta

Nicely done! :2thumbs: I love taking kids to do challenging activities that they have never done before. Hopefully makes them realize that there is more to life than computers, ipods and cell phones.

Very cool. I knew there had to be a ton of canyons driving on that road to and from Lake Powell. Guess I wasn't the first to think that. Love the pics!

I'm with Dave and Penny out at chimney rock right now. Dave loves to hear the good report from the canyon and we enjoyed looking at the pics even on my tiny blackberry screen. Sounds like you guys were the next group after us. Keep the tr's coming! I'll have a few once I get back to slc.
