Tuesday ride invite 9-8-08: Bobsled

I'll go ahead and post this up. The bogley crew of bandits will be riding the bobsled. A classic SLC trail.

We'll be riding the Dry Gulch Option (Southern Loop): Follow 11th Avenue East until you come to Popperton Park.

Anyone who would like is welcome to join in. Meet at 5:45pm at the park.

For those that haven't seen the thread on mtbr, watch out for the bees up there, I guess they've been a little testy lately. I haven't had any issue myself but haven't been on Bobsled in a few weeks. I'd say definitely skip the bonus ride continuing up Dry Creek (at the switchback corner) felt like I was riding through an apiary last time I rode up that. Didn't get stung but wouldn't want to be up there if they are really being as aggressive as it sounds.

Just got home at 5:05, too late to pack up and get there by 5:45 (needed that extra 15 min to 6:00).

Hope you had a great ride! The weather looks like it might be interesting, but clear enough at that end of the valley.
