Another one into the Gulf. :eek2: Good luck Stan!
If it is going to hit New Orleans, do we think people will learn from their past mistakes and get the heck out of the way :haha: Something tells me, history is going to repeat itself :haha:

I think Stan might need more help with Hanna. Looks like a very active beginning to Sept.

I'm thinking back to my days in NJ and Floyd in 1999 that flooded out my fathers home and greatly contributed to his passing.

Gustav shouldn't cause a problem here, not sure about LA. Hannah is a mystery right now. May or may not cause anyone a real problem.

We're planning to leave town mid-Sept for some fun time in the TN mountains. Hope we can dodge storms until then.

For what it's werth, I played that video in the Cubs' 8th when Romero came in the game with two on and no out. He struck out the side.

Phils now one game back of the Melts.

Back to Gustav, we are feeling its winds and seeing its clouds. Winds around 35 mph much of the day, may not get much higher since the storm should be moving farther from us at this time.

Concerning Hannah, it is a crap shoot where that one is going but it doesn't appear to have much potential.

As predicted, we got very little wind and almost no rain from Gustav. Now we start watching Hanna, which is still wandering around. That one should soon start heading north, just off the Florida coast. Ike is still chugging this way, and Josephine may be on the way. Stay tuned.

Thanks, everyone, for your interest and concern.

These things are on a steady march :haha: Hana may bounce up this way. We haven't had a hurricane in years, where bound to get one sooner or later

Oh yeah, 2 years ago experts predicted a major hurricane in the northeast is just a matter of a few years.
