Well, we had a great trip. I don't quite know where to start but we spent most of three days walking the convention and actually got to see nearly everything. One of the first people I ran into was our buddy Dan (leftylover) in the Delta7 Sports booth - ARANTIX bike frame, and of course I had to be reprezentin bogley :haha: . I never did see Fuzzythe Bike Guy...sorry Fuzzy...never got hold of Jeremy (ODGMFG) sorry dude...I know you guys were busier than I was and I didnt think I'd get to see all that I needed to. One of the highlights of my trip was literally running into Tara Llanes in her wheelchair...she insisted on a picture with me...cool! I brought home more crap than I could fit into two big suitcases so it ought to be a good year next :2thumbs:
Here are some of the highlights:

....yes, it's in vegas....every year....every stinkin year  ...sorry, not a big fan of Vegas. We saw someone with a bag that said 'Vegas sucks...bring interbike to Colorado'
...I just want to go to interbike...don't really care where it is, but I'm sure I am in the minority on this one :haha:

I'm not a big Vegas fan either, but as long as I'm living in St. George I'm happy to hear it will be back nearby next year.

Nice report from the show, looks like a good time, though I'm with you on the Vegas thing. That's cool you got to meet Tara, she's an amazing person. Just curious, what booth was that Knolly Endorphin at? Really a strange build kit on that thing with the White Bros fork, a DT FR wheelset and no idea what rear shock that is.

I'm pretty sure it was at the MRP booth. Lots of component manufacturers had bikes on display that their stuff would go on...you know, to give you a feel of what goes with what.

That's cool, just wondering who had built it up, that makes sense with the MRP guide on there. Didn't look like one of Noel's typical build kits so it had me wondering.

I would give anything to attend that- nice report! The Colnago is awfully sexy and I didn't know Arantix has a road bike version. Are they actually selling any? I would love to have Hincapie's autograph but what was with the lime-green shirt? He looks like a psuedo euro pretty-boy!

Cool pics of the madness. I was lucky that on my only trip the show was still in L.A. Although that's pretty much the same as Vegas to me.

Looks like it was a little cold at the Marzocchi booth :naughty:

I'm guessing you had to skip the dirt demos since you're still healing?

Just for the record, the Ascend is the bike we are holding in the picture, not the Arantix. The Ascend is the road bike from Delta 7 Sports, new for 2009. The frame weighs in under 850 grams and is the fastest road bike I have had the pleasure of riding. I'm proud to say I was 1 of 3 rider/racers to be asked to ride and give feedback on the bike just prior to it's first showing to the public at Interbike 2008. It's the strongest, most responsive bike I know of. The power transfer will knock your socks off. Mountain Bike action did a full review of the Arantix this month, which is Delta 7's MTB frame weighing in at under 1200 grams! They wrote some awesome stuff and everybody should check it out. The mountain and road bike are two peas in a pod. They both belong to the elite category of bicycles, no doubt about it. I had the pleasure of helping Delta 7 out for the entire week of Interbike. I hate Las Vegas and would sign anyone's petition to move it to CO or anywhere other than there.

... and yes, the road bike Ascend is currently in production and ready for sale to the public. We sold quite a few during the show last week.
