I was wondering if anyone has been down Eardley in the last week or so, looking for some beta. I have been Canyoneering/Climbing for many years but have stayed pretty much dry to this point. I am looking to get "baptized" into the wonderful world of swimming (yes, I have done Baptist, managed to avoid water). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Looking to maybe jump in this weekend. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but I can't help you on current water levels.

I like Eardley a lot, I always get good pictures in that slot.

Haven't been down recently.
We went in springs and the one piece of advice is get an early start. The hike up the slickrock is very long and super hot. Once you get to the first potholes, after what seems like eternity, you are pretty much in the shade until the exit hike out. It was really cold in the water and my brother who weighs mabey 100lbs wet was in the first stages of hypothermia. Wetsuits may be needed.

I was in the area and did Zero Gravity and Baptist Draw/upper chute on Tuesday and Wednesday and there was a lot of water in both of them, if that tells you anything.
