This is what happened when I saw that my new Salsa HAD presta valves. :twisted:

nothing.
I did the same thing to my bikes when I was 15. Then I came to realize that in fact PRESTA RULES.

hmmm, must be a trend. I just drilled out a set of rims for a customer...seems he'd never seen Prestas before :ne_nau: I have about an even mix of each in the dozen bikes in my corral... :roll:

I can't remember the last time that I had a flat since I quit using presta tubes. I prefer the heavy duty tubes which I can fill with slime. At the time I couldn't find presta style tubes that would work with a 3" wide tire. Prestas work great on road bikes.

Go tubeless and don't worry about flats again. If you want goo in your tire, put it in the tire.
Can't use schraeder valves with them though. Sorry guys.
