WOW...thanks for posting! I'm curious...where was this filmed exactly? Was this on the approach to Russel Gulch or on the climb out after the Subway portion?

The flooded area is from Lee Valley junction down. The floating tree in the picture is "huge" it rest about 100' down from where it was uprooted.
If you don't recall, I'd guess Lee Valley comes into Left Fork about 1/3 mile upcanyon from the exit trail. Everything above Lee is basically the same other than a little extra small debris. That includes Das Boot.

i had a chance to do das boot/subway on the 19 this month and you could tell that there was some changes in the subway. but it looked to me like tha main debri field started at the first spring coming into the subway on RDC. then the most debri was on the seccond larger spring droping in RDC i guess it is lee valley junction. it looked to be about 75 yards wide and there were areas of debri in trees 10 feet high. the lower left fork has changed dramaticly. the whole canyon is really wide and clear now. and i would have to say there are places where the streambed is 10 feet lower then it use to be. It is UNREAL how much damage was caused by this flood. if you get a chance to get down to the subway this year check it out it is amazing. :dropmouth: :dropmouth: :dropmouth: :dropmouth:

Let us now how things look. I wanted to take one more trip through the Subway before the end of the year and mostly to get some beautiful pictures so I am curious how stirred up things still are.
