Columbia Records announced today the October 20th release of AC/DC's widely-anticipated Black Ice, the band's first studio album in eight years. Black Ice features 15 new tracks from brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd. The album was produced by Brendan O'Brien at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC.

"Rock 'N' Roll Train," the album's first single, will debut on August 28th. The video will premiere in September. And the band is set to kick off its first world tour since 2001 in late October.

I see Brian Johnson is holding up well. But why is he singing to an imaginary microphone and posting it on youtube?

Dude Hana Montana has sold out more shows than AC\DC this year. Does that make her better? I think not.

Can you even rip it to MP3 or will a swat team show up and take you down. Odds are AC/DC will sue you ass so they can purchase more a adult diapers :haha:

Dang! I work in the music business and those are impressive numbers these days (and would be impressive in past decades). The crap the record labels sell now has no soul and they get all wet over a 60,000 week.

They didn't get greedy, that's why.

Labels start drooling when they think of the distribution costs almost eliminated when they sell through digital venues.

Even in today's world when anybody on the internet can find a way to get this AC/DC album for free, they're still kicking ass in hard copy sells.

And through WalMart nonetheless. :lol8:

To all of you who said this would be a terrible marketing strategy, we'll let ya slide on that one.
