Paintbrush Divide in the Tetons, Thursday August 14. This is a fairly long hike but is nice because you can make a loop hike beginning and ending at the String Lake parking lot. I prefer to go up Paintbrush Canyon and down Cascade Canyon but a lot of people make the hike the opposite direction. This was probably my last hike in the Tetons this year-the scenery was fantastic! I culled out a lot of photos I really liked and still have a lot of shots.

Wow. Friggin' awesome. Between those and the Static Peak trip pics, fantastic!

I've spent a bunch of time climbing in the Tetons, but, just don't seem to get on those classic trails as much as I'd like. And...before you know it, summer will be over.

A fellow trail homeboy has a few shots from a recent Teton trip as well at:

Yeah, big snow year up there. Still hangin' in up high.

Ahhh...the Tetons...

Thanks,

Great TR and photos. I think that's the hike I once did (about 10 years ago). There is always some snow along there.
