This year I joined the Davis County Fair amature division photography contest and I would like to humbly report how I did.
Hope if others joined they did well also, now I got my sights on the state fair....
This took first place in the human interest amature division(amature because I dont get paid over half my income in doing photography)

Great photos! I wish I could do something at least close to that? Is Lost Springs in Wyoming? I drove by some place pop.1 but I don't recall the name. I was also too lazy to stop, back up, and take a photo, ehh.

Thanks guys.
Yes this is Lost Springs WY on HW 18 facing east. I happen to be driving west when I saw this scene in the sideview mirror, flipped around and grabbed it.

That is exactly the same place I drove through on Sunday on my way from Sturgis, heh. But I just wanted to get back home, plus I figured I'll drive through there again some day. Where did I get that idea, I do not know :haha:

Yeah I grabbed this on the way back from Rapid City to Utah. We drove a big government box truck down through Mt Rushmore and Custer State park. Those roads looked bigger on the map... I got real lucky with the lighting on that night also, it was almost sun down.

Yeah, I had lots of rain, hail and some lightning in Wyoming on Sunday, but more so to the West end. Can I use your photo of the sign as mine to show people that I drove through a place with a population of 1 or do I need to go back there? :haha:
