Arkansas Democratic Party Chairman in Critical Condition Following Shooting
The chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party was hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday after being shot inside party headquarters in Little Rock, FOX News has confirmed.
Three shots were reportedly fired before a man escaped the area in a blue truck. However, the suspect was shot and killed following a 30-mile car chase with police, Little Rock police Lt. Terry Hastings told FOX News.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Police say the 49-year-old chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party has died hours after being shot by a gunman who burst into the state party headquarters in Little Rock. Police say Chairman Bill Gwatney died four hours after the shooting near the state Capitol.
The suspect was shot dead after shooting at police officers following a 30-mile police chase.
Police say they don't have a motive for Gwatney's killing
It didn't sound like he was going to make it.
