I am not much in to photography but on occasion I think "I'd like to have a picture of that". So I bought a cheapo camera that I can leave in my Camelbak. Tried it out.
Nothing fancy just a few shots of Brigham City from the Perry Canyon/Grizzly Peak trail.

Great pics Last Child. :2thumbs: I haven't been up that one for a while. I've been staying up in Mantua where the air is cooler.
A few weeks ago, I went up and rode from Brigham up to Mantua to Grizzly Peak then dropped off the front until we hit the trail. That was a great ride. The top of the trail is about 900 vertical from the peak right now and I can't wait for it to be done.
BTW, it's all singletrack from the mouth of Perry Canyon to the top. When it's done, you're looking at ~4200 vertical feet in 9 miles. It's steep, but so cool. All we have to do is keep the morons off of it with their motorcycles.

I actually love this trail. It's one of my favorites. But I love to climb. It is a total ball breaker. 100% single track. Pretty steep. Lots of switch backs. Some of which have been loosened up by motorcycles. Some great scenery. Hardly ever another soul on the trail. The upper portion has some growth issues due to the lack of use but no big deal. My overall conditioning has greatly improved since I started riding this trail regularly. Stuff that I thought was tough last year is a cake walk now.
I do have some video of almost the entire length of the trail from the top down but it is pretty boring since I ride alone and its also pretty bouncy too. My first attempt at video. If I can find some decent, easy, and free software that will allow me to extract some single pics and short video segments I can put together something that will give an idea of the overall trail.
There are also two other trails here. One heads north to Brigham and then east to Mantua. The other heads south to Willard. A lot of fun to be had.
And Stevo, one of these weekends I am going to ride some of the Mantua stuff. I see your invites on Thursdays but I am so damn busy this year I just can't get away on week nights. Except for a few Sherwood Hills trips. But that's like only a five minute drive for me. :ne_nau:

Last Child,
If you want to hit some trails in Mantua one of these weekends, I'd be happy to show you around. There isn't much singletrack, but the ATV trails in the area offer plenty of challenges and there's a lot of space up there to get away from everyone.
This weekend is out on account of my daughter's birthday, but the nest one looks good so far. Let me know. Anyone else that's interested can definately come along too.

I heard about this trail from my Cousin-In-Law a few weeks ago, I guess he knows the guy who is building it. Says it's pretty cool.
