when i decided to move to Vernal the main reason was to get out of the city and people and to ride all year round with out getting crowded on the trails. However i knew i'd have to give something up, which would be to riding in the mountains of Park City.
well imagine my surprise when i found out about the flume! It is an awesome trail up Dryfork canyon. It's just like being in Park City again. It's a ten mile trail that follows Dryfork creek about ten miles up the canyon. It's probably est to do it as shuttle but can be done as an out-n-back, depending on how much you like to punish yourself.
It stats out on a what looks like an old covered over jeep trail but the further along you willmake you think you're in Park City again. It does jump out on to the forest service road a couple of times but only for about 20-30 yards and then right back in the trees...........
