Ok, need to get caught up on my TR. I finally got and have been riding the local trails around Vernal. Most of the trails are located in the McCoy flats area, about 8 miles west of Vernal. Most of the trails stat from the same trailhead so it took me a couple of rids to figure out which ones are what.
One of the first rides i wanted to do was Retail Sale, i'd heard it was the local favorite. They all are pretty well marked with signs at the trailhead but once you get out on them they kind of all mesh together and aren't very well marked out on the trail. so it took me a couple of times to get Retail Sale in as a complete ride.
Have to say that it is a pretty good ride. t's not to strenuous or technical,although there are a couple of technical spots out there but nothing that can't be done or walked through. it flows really well, nice tight twisty lines. It is pretty much a mixed bag with a little bit of everything as you can see in the pics.I'd say this trail along with the others in the area would make a trip to Vernal well worth it.
