Say what you want about the Wikipedia, but one thing it is not is slow in updating with new content. I just heard about the Russian-Georgian conflict on the Olympic broadcast and wanted to find out more. I checked some major news sources on the net and they only had a small bit of information. Then I went to the wikipedia and found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_South_Ossetia_(2008)

P.S. Make sure the (2008) is included in your address box

Remember this happened this morning! And there is already this much hyperlinked information available. Take that Encyclopedia Brittanica!

Not sure if this is off topic, but I check the wiki for something pretty much everyday and absolutely love it. I would praise it as one of the top 10 websties ever made.

edit: right behind google and bogley of course. :P
