Got some chips?

So I upgraded to a Salsa El Santo. I test road the bike on the Draper shoreline today. It climbs like a beast and is plush enough for the big bumps. It felt great! It seems to have pretty decent components. I'll have to list them out when I get a chance. I bought it on KSL for $1100. Tell me how I did.

I saw that bike on ksl and I wanted it, (I've always liked Salsa bikes) but alas it is way to big for me at 5'-6" tall.

I think $1100 is a great deal assuming that the parts are descent and it isn't beat to death. A new fs bike with descent parts runs you at least $2000 these days.

Congrats and enjoy that bike.

Yeah the bike is scuffed up more then I would like but what you gonna do. The scandium does not hold the paint well. The frame alone retails for 1000. I just really liked the feel of it, except for the tires, gotta swap those out.

That's a mighty pretty bike! Congrats! Nothin' like a new bike! I got a new fork, but that's not quite the same, almost, but not quite! (A Fox RLC)
