I'd say about the same time/distance for other canyons in the area (Fry, cheesbox, gravel, black hole). :haha:

The photos of that rappel into that chamber aren't in Cowboy, but in Lower Gravel, right? According to the Kelsey guide, there aren't any rappels in Cowboy Canyon - just DC's and slide-ins or jump-ins into pools.

Yes. The only rap we did was in Gravel Canyon.

Yes. The only rap we did was in Gravel Canyon.

YMMV. There are some nice features here and there in Cowgirl that might require a rappel to get to.

Here's that same rap in Gravel - the best feature of "Cowboy Canyon".
