A man has been found alive in Little Cottonwood Canyon after being in a river for 16 hours. We don't know what his condition is. (KSL News) A man has been found alive in Little Cottonwood Canyon after being in trapped in river for 16 hours. He is near Tanner's Flat.

He is trapped between two boulders, and crews are having a hard time getting him out of the river. We don't know what his condition is.

When he stepped in the water, he lost his footing and was carried downstream.
Ririe managed to grab a hold of a big rock, but in doing so dislodged it. The rock pinned him in waist-deep water.
