I have created an online survey to be used in a study I am conducting. I would like to have it tested out by a bunch of people before I use it with my study participants (college algebra students). It is short - about 10 minutes. If any of you could spare the time I would really appreciate it if you took the survey and offered your opinion.

Look for spelling and grammatical errors? Do the questions make sense? Are the instructions clear? Is the layout clear or is it confusing?

I want to get good data from the survey so I am really interested in your thoughts. Feel free to provide your feedback here in this thread. Thanks a TON for your help.

To take the survey just go here:

I just browsed through and briefly pretended to take the survey. I thought it was VERY easy to use. At first glance, I swear I saw something misspelled. But now that I've gone back to find it, everything looks fine. I'll go back one more time............good job!!

Maybe something is wrong with my computer (it is approaching dinosaur age!) but when I tried clicking "Next" at the bottom of the first page, the first page kept popping back up (Questions 1-5). :ne_nau:

It worked for me?? :ne_nau: Ok Savanna....time for an upgrade. HEHE!! :2thumbs: :haha:

I'm wondering if there is a potential problem - did you folks skip the questions on PAGE 2 of the survey on purpose or did you not notice page 2 with questions (6-10)? If you missed page two would you try to retake the survey and either finish it (if possible) or retake it.

Let me know if you can finish an unfinished survey.

I'll also tinker with the background color.

Thanks.

Only thing I didn't like was the neon green color, everything else looked great. I like the practical uses for math. I think that helps people relate to why they need to learn.

I was expecting some sort of trick or joke :ne_nau: where is the punchline? :haha:

It looks good and worked fine for me.

Don't know whether you toned down the colour from the earlier "neon" comments, but I thought it looked good.

Looked good, made sense. (By the time I was 1/3 way down the second page, I was so involved in coming up with my responses that I think I stopped paying attention to things like grammar and spelling... Nothing wrong that I noticed, though.)

I enjoyed taking the test. Sorry for being so late - have not been home much these days. :five:

I did want to make a comment about question #5. I had to take math classes over again because I was out of the world of academia from another country for quite awhile and needed a review, but I had great grades. I did not find a good choice to answer in question 5. I would like to have answered: Academic review

Nice test! Did remind me of how much I hated statistics and accounting. :haha:
