Hmm the kid is passionate about creating something with his hands. A lot more to say about that than most kids. More power to him, nerds grow into very rich people :haha:

I have a friend like this, rest assured if this kid gets the proper encouragment and resources he will be rich and happy his whole life. I didn't get it when we were kids, but more parents should encourage their kids to be like this. Ya he's a friggin nerd. But you can see the passion in his eyes and he has talent even working with cardboard. He'll meet other nerds who have similar passions and be just fine. I'm not sure about being a bill gates type, but definately a mechanical engineer.

Now if only he can handle all the "haters". That's the true measure... to see if he starts to conform to what i call the "dumb masses" when he hits high school and wants to get laid.
