Been, done. I got a gash when a casing hit me just above my left eye. I was standing in the wrong place when an XGF was shooting her dad's mini 14. She's the XGF because she threatened to use the business end on me if I broke up with her.

Happened to me when I was about 8 years old and my uncle took me to the training grounds with his men. We were shooting AK47's and one of the shells hit my thigh. Sucked. But it sucked even more having to look for all those shells in the mud. All had to be accounted for.
