What do you call the thing that plugs into the little thing on the computer? I think it's broken.

Unplug the thingamajig, and then reconnect it to the dingus. If that doesn't work then try flicking the thingamabob on and off.

Well, this window popped up saying something, I don't know what it said though. I just closed it.

Ahh that sucks man! Sounds like your computer is outta gas. Take the box to the station and fill it up. You might have to turn it on the side to get it all the way full.

here's what I'd do/did. Take it to the roof of a major retailer and drop it off the roof onto their loading dock 2 stories down. It was beautiful. Therapeutic too.

This may not be true with PCs, but Apple strongly discourages putting anything on your dingus.

My internet isn't working.
coincidentally, I'm using this very computer on the internet right now.

It's like receiving an email from somebody, explaining how their email isn't working.

I am kind of breaking form here, but when I used to do Dell tech support we got all kinds of calls.

One time a person was yelling at me because their Dell scanner wasn't working. 5 minutes into the call, I figured out that their "scanner" was their LCD monitor.

Thankfully these people provide jobs for a lot of us.

:haha: I had one lady tell me the video card was bad when it was obvious somebody else had told her that. I responded that maybe the video drivers had wiggled loose from the computer vibrations. She agreed that I may be onto something. :2thumbs:
