very cool. Can I ask what the inline 8 was for? Someday I will make it to heaps, I wish I wasn't such a noob. How long did it take you guys start to finish? sorry for all the questions.

Hehehe...and holding it (especially for hours and hours) feels BAD!
I'm never wearing a dry suit again for "that" reason! :/

We left lava point TH around 7 I think and we got to our camp (after the 3rd narrows) right as the sun went down. None of us had a watch so I can't be sure. The in line 8 is where we joined the ropes for the pull down side. ~

It's not an inline 8, though...it's a rethreaded 8-on-bight

8-on-bight bend? not sure of the name, but here's the knot in detail:

Ohhhhh I see. Well, being has you're the one who tied it, I just assumed Jaxx was callin it by it's real knot name. Thanks for the detail.

I couldn't have done it without ya'll (unlike some folks, you will NEVER catch me soloing Heaps!)
