At 6:15 am we left for the summit of Mount of the Holy Cross. We reached the top just before 11 am, but spent over an hour on the summit on a bluebird day. We hiked down the mountain and packed up camp and at an early dinner before climbing back over Halfmoon Pass. We had a second dinner on Halfmoon Pass and didn

Scott's kids are not your average kids. He's got those boys accomplishing stuff before they hit puberty that many would be happy to accomplish in a lifetime! Awesome pics Scott, thanks for posting.

I agree, very nice pics. I need to get my kids on a training regiment so they can hike with me like yours do. Any cool story behind the name of the peak?

Geez Scott...I'm amazed by your sons endurance and spirit.
I used to be impressed with my kids when they did a 10 mile hike! And we had a lot of whining, bribery & coercion going on at that age! ; )
Do you take your daughter out too? I hope so!

Thanks for the great pix and Tr!

Hi Scott, great TR"s and pix. I finally got around to browsing the site. Your daughter is adorable too! Yeah, your kids are pretty amazing.

So is your dad! I met him out in Zion one year and did a hike with him! :)

Looks like you guys are enjoying life to the max! :2thumbs:
