I've actually been surprised by Utah's stats. I would assume that the big cities would have everybody walking everywhere, thus keeping somewhat in shape. Utah's lack of huge cities has a bunch of people driving.
Would it be that Utahns are more recreational?

Busy, fast lifestyle of big city folks I think cause them to eat crap. If you get home at 7 p.m. you don't want to cook, you buy chinese. Pluse they don't walk, they take the bus or the subway.

I think Utah folks are definitely more active than most. States like MA and CT amaze me, those people always seem heavy to me.

Na, they're way to high strung out here to get fat :haha:

I'm pleased with where we turned up on that chart. I'm better there never was an www.AAlamba.com or UAlabma.com or any outdoor equivalent to the awesomeness that is Bogley.
I guess I am the last thin person in Oklahoma. Sheesh.

Not at all! I think that Abby and Mitchell are also skewing the data. Other than that... :haha:

Speaking of skewing data, I just stumbled across obesity rates here at home: British Columbia averages about 19% overall (18% for men, 20% for women), but the Metropolitan Vancouver area averaged 11.7% in 2006. I think it's all the outdoor activities around & a sort of culture of fitness. Of course, that means that the rest of BC is about 30% obese, or some such number...
