Web site looks like a place for guides to advertise for when people do internet searches for adventures in Utah. It has a Top 20 list, thought I'd post it.

What canyon is that pic from?

1. Sea kayak in the Great Salt Lake near Antelope Island
2. Explore Logan Canyon

Just a guess.... one of Rick Green's guided routes in Escalante.

1. Sea kayak in the Great Salt Lake near Antelope Island

Is there a place that rents kayaks near the lake?

6. Mountain bike the White Rim Trail with RimTours. http://www.rimtours.com/

I've gotta say... not on my list anytime soon.

Like I said I think it's more to advertise the guides to the tourist. I can think of a lot of things better that are not on the list.

Sure, click the link I provided, click on #1 kayak the great salt lake, then look for a link to the guide to rent kayaks.

Thanks Trackrunner. I got directed to www.greatsaltlakekayak.com where I learned that they no longer offer tours or rentals because the business was bad, heh. But pics from kayaking on the lake look cool.

REI in SLC rents kayaks. That's pretty close to the Big Lake.

1. Sea kayak in the Great Salt Lake near Antelope Island

Pain in the butt with low water. Definitely not #1. I'd do it again, but when the water is much higher. We had to drag our boats about 1/2 mile to the water.

2. Explore Logan Canyon’s hiking, climbing, mountain biking and family camping

Pretty fun, but no #2

3. Hike Dark Canyon with Buckhorn Llamas: http://www.llamapack.com/
4. Run Cataract Canyon with Sheri Griffith Expeditions: http://www.griffithexp.com/
5. Explore the San Rafael Swell on horseback with Hondoo Trails: http://www.hondoo.com/
6. Mountain bike the White Rim Trail with RimTours. http://www.rimtours.com/

Or do it without the expensive guide service. Okay, #4 does sound fun.

7. Hike Ashdown Gorge/Rattlesnake Creek

Worth investigating

8. Hike the Rainbow Bridge Trail with CFI: http://www.canyonlandsfieldinst.org/

Or you could spend less money and use $200 in gas to get there and back in a power boat.

9. Explore Utah Hwy. 12 from Torrey to Bryce Canyon

A worthy adventure for sure.

10. Climb in Crawdad Canyon with Paragon Adventures: http://www.paragonclimbing.com/
11. Canyoneer in Grand Staircase Escalante NM with http://www.excursionsofescalante.com/
12. Fish the Green River with Western Rivers Flyfisher: http://www.wrflyfisher.com/

What's with paying for expensive guide services?

13. Mountain bike Virgin River Rim Trail

:hitit:

14. Sea kayak Lake Powell with http://www.hiddencanyonkayak.com/

See my response to #3, 5, 6 & 8. Taking an unpowered craft on Lake Powell is just silly.

15. Run Westwater Canyon with Adventure Bound: http://www.raft-utah.com/

The idea has merit.

16. Hike King’s Peak, Deseret Peak, Mt. Olympus, Timpanogos and Ben Lomond

Been, done (except for Deseret Peak).

17. Ride Park City’s Mid-mountain Trail

Great trail, but wait! Don't I need an expensive guide service?

18. Canyoneer The Pleiades Canyon with http://www.deserthighlights.com/
19. Hike/Rappell Water Canyon with http://www.zionrockguides.com/
20. Climb Castleton Tower with http://www.moabdesertadventures.com/
21.Explore the Black Hole with Moab Cliffs and Canyons: http://www.cliffsandcanyons.com/

Oh, there they are.

And yes, we can count to 20. But with all the great things-to-do in the Utah outdoors, we couldn’t get it down to fewer than 21. So, this year you get one bonus adventure!

Sad they had to stop at 21. Utah is AWESOME!
