My friend came by on Sunday and posed for a couple pics. He normally hangs out at the 4,000' elevation and not up high where I am.

I used to catch those lizards in the desert of Las Vegas. We called them leopard or collared lizards. They run very fast and they are very aggressive towards other lizards. Nice pics :2thumbs:

What a great pose! I LOVE reptiles!
This little fellow kept me company for a good 30 minutes or so, when I was stuck in a short section of Neon canyon (waiting for friends who were bringing ropes). It's a funny story how that came about, but I was stuck in a short section of Neon for more than a couple of hours with nothing to do but pace up and down the canyon.

I walked up canyon and swam as far as I could, climbed up to the edge of a pot hole and got a great photo of my shadow below (posted for your viewing pleasure even though this is a lizard-event posting).

So I also found this little guy under a bush and started talking to him. He stayed and kept posing, and eventually charged me! Seriously...he ran right up to the camera and tried to bite the wrist strap of my camera, which was danging down. Soooo cute! :)

Heck, I might as well post my neon link. I got some very good shots that day...as well as on another trip. Well, I like em anyway. It was the same trip where I took photos for Stephen's "before the flood" shots.
