One more reason I am glad to be in Utah! What a :lame: town. Anything for a little revenue. What a great way to encourage future students! :roll:

I almost hate to brag about Oklahoma, since we are pretty lame sometimes, but geez. We SO have better things to do with our tax dollars.

That was pretty humorous. The only thing I take seriously from the idiot Moore is a restaurant review, but it was funny to watch how rabid everyone got. :haha: I wouldn't mind hearing him speak myself.

Being arrested for cheering at a graduation is too lame to even make another salient comment on. I think its all been said. :roll:

It's funny how the school wants the hecklers gone and they probably had a sit down with the PD and let them know they were fed up with the problem. They wanted them gone and the police acknowledge their wants. But, when it came to arrests, all of a sudden, the school backs off a bit and now doesn't want arrests, just them escorted out. Once the police get involved and not your own security, police are mandated in certain situations to make arrests. Their hands maybe forced depending on how the situation turns out with each individual situation.

Here's a gem from the article:

Those attending graduations are told they can be prosecuted for bad behavior and letters are sent home with students

OK, going to jail is fine, but PLEASE don't send a letter home with the students. SHIT!!!!!! For the love of all that is decent in the land, please don't send that letter home!!!!

On another note, look at all the protests of others besides Moore visiting;

Gordon B Hinckley speaking at graduation
Sean Hannity coming to town

there's a protest against anybody these days.

What is it, anyway, with schools hiring politicians to speak at graduations? It's stupid, because you've taken an otherwise happy day and then polarized the audience. No matter the politician you have speaking, you have immediately pissed off about half the people in attendance.

Also, a graduation speaker should be an inspiring productive member of society. This precludes any politician.
