Wednesday, June 11th 2008 at 5:00 pm - Timpanogos Cave cleanup
Location: Timpanogos Cave National Monument
Cami Pulham is having a cleanup/restoration of the lower tunnel in Timpanogos Cave National Monument. The cave cleaning nights will be the second Wednesday of every month this summer- June 11, July 9, Aug 13, and Sept 9. The group will leave from the Visitor Center at 5 p.m. and hike to the cave. Volunteers should bring their helmet,headlamp and water- and remember the cave is 43 degrees so a jacket is nice to have. The return to the Visitor Center will be approximately 10:00 p.m. When you reach the fee station at the mouth of the canyon, tell the ranger that you are volunteering for Cami Pulham at Timpanogos Cave and you will get a waiver pass for the evening. This is a good opportunity to get into Timp for free, and maybe see the cave different than normal tourists.
