Don't fall and hurt yourself before you even get to the first rappel. I can only imagine how much more enjoyable canyoneering is when you don't have a bum ankle the whole time.

You are one stubb....oops! I mean determined guy! I believe they refer to this as "The Will to Survive", but in your case "The will to have a Blast". I am so glad that you persevered and I truly could see the joy in your eyes that you did. Thanks for a great day! Hope your ankle heals fast! :five:

I saw these photos on Facebook, and assumed that it happened at the end of the trip! I'm impressed that you got through the whole deal with that going on!

I think I am going to start trying to give the impression that it happened mid-trip so that I sound like a little less of an idiot and people don't judge me for doing this hike when I could have turned back.

Ouch. I knew you twisted it pretty good. Good job at persevering. Hope you had a good time regardless of the injury, and hope you mend quickly...

Take care,
A.J.

Yeah, I am off crutches today and I am getting closer to getting back out there. I can only imagine how much more enjoyable it is without being in pain, but it was totatly worth it! It was a great time! Thanks again AJ!

Disgo we'll have to plan another trip to the subway when you feel better.

Thanks TrackRunner! I'd love it! I will wear an ankle brace next time, just in case :D.
