MY HEROES!!! AJ AND BO! SEE BELOW PHOTO.
2 years ago, I would never have thought I'd be dangling from a rope at 96 feet above a pristine canyon floor. Let me re-phrase the previous, "SAFELY dangling from a rope at 96 feet above a pristine canyon floor". Because of the two men in the bottom photo, they made this possible for me and the others in my group. In the words of Alison, 'AJ and BO, you guys ROCK!'
So my 'THANK YOU' list could be extensive as I know Tanya and Shane worked really hard on making this happen for everyone so THANK YOU GUYS for that.
But my most important thanks go to the following:
AJ: Thank you for taking charge, staying organized, answering my questions and keeping our group in check. You are one of a kind! Kind of like a canyon lizard scaling the walls as if gravity doesn't apply. Amazing you are! I only wish to have HALF the energy you do.
BO: THANK YOU for being my rock, thank you for your patience and for looking out for me like you did. Never mind being a ROCK, you are the GEM in the rock pile!! How lucky I am to have done a canyon with you. Need a canyon groupie? HAHA!!!!
Dan: Thank you for covering my back end (literally) with the photo sharing and for your upbeat attitude! Oh yea and for the hand getting my short ass out of the pot hole.
Trackrunner: If it weren't for you, I'd still be boulder hopping. Thank you for spotting me numerous times. You have a way of making a person comfortable no matter what. Thank you for your patience.
Mark: Thank you for playing cheerleader with me. HAHA!!!
Shad: Thank you for all your knowledge and also making this adventure possible for those of us noobs with your experience.
Jason: Thank you for being entertainment. It was awesome watching a NOOB(you) fly down the canyon walls like it was nothing. I think you have an inner lizard.
Warren: Thank you for covering my back end with the photos as well. It was great doing a canyon with you.
With that said.......I'd also like to thank Beech for being a turdbutt.
I'm looking forward to doing many more canyons with everyone of you. :2thumbs: :five:  :cool2: :2thumbs:
