Nebo Loop?

Does anybody know if the road is open yet or not? The UDOT page that lists seasonal road closures doesn't list it, and I can't seem to find a reference anywhere online.

I noticed the same thing. Looked and lookd and could never find any info... I gambled and drove down there but ran into a "road closed" gate less than 10 miles up from the Payson side. :frustrated: What is up with UDOT not listing it?

call the Spanish Fork Ranger district of the USFS for info on the nebo loop and when the road will be open

Of course, I would've called the forest service if it hadn't been the weekend already.

I have talked to them a couple of times since...as of Wednesday, 06/18, the road still wasn't entirely opened yet. The person on the phone mentioned Santaquin Canyon to Devils Kitchen still being closed.

I guess since the road is entirely the responsibility of the Forest Service, and not the state, the state doesn't list its status on their web page?

Last weekend we drove up Payson canyon, made it to the turn off for Santaquin Canyon where the loop road was closed . You can make the mini loop up Santauqin and down Payson, or visa versa.
