Hmmmmmmm...sounds a little blown out of proportion to me. I'd like to hear what the context of the voting was all about, the teacher's side of the story, and the student's side of the story. Maybe this kid was a bully and got what was coming to him.

What do you do with one kid that disrupts the entire class? Every other kid suffers when one is consistently interrupts the class.

Get the kid tested. If he needs "Special Needs" classes, put him where he belongs.

Complete BS. Regardless of the reason, if this had been my child, the teacher would have been in for an ass-whipping (by me or the wife).

Un-FREAKING-Excusable to treat a young child that way.

Phone the parent, send them to the principals office, but you JUST DON'T humiliate an impressionable young one that way.
