I had a Pina Colada this weekend!
:eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

Never again!

Worst Summer Cocktail
Pina Colada
625 calories
75 g sugars

Made from a blend of sickly-sweet pineapple juice and fat-riddled coconut milk, pina coladas may be this summer's biggest beach-body saboteurs. In fact, the only redeeming part of this drink is the garnish

I don't drink very often, but my choice is a flavored vodka (I like Absolut peach or melon the best) served on the rocks or with a little club soda splashed in. Just the calories of the alcohol, no sugar per sa (which I am told is mainly the cause of hangovers). It'll take your breath away the first couple of sips, but it ends up being pretty smooth after that.

Worst "Healthy" Drink
Glaceau VitaminWater (any flavor; 20 oz bottle)
130 calories
33 grams sugar

Damn you Vitamin Water!!! That was my only drink of choice other than water! Must all tasty things be bad for you? Like the delicious salads at Cafe Rio, heh. Never again!.

How many calories does scotch and club soda have? Cause that's my drink of choice.

I love those flavored vodkas as well!! Yummy. The Absoult mandrin with a splash of cran and twist of a lime is very refreshing come summertime. But those Pina Colodas are ohhhhhhhhh so yummy. It's a shame they are virtually a dessert. :ne_nau:

That's kinda how I feel about tequila shooters. At a party one night, someone thought it would be funny to throw me into the pool after downing a few shooters and I almost drowned. Even the smell of tequila can make me a little queasy now. :nono:

I have a friend and she 'infuses' her own vodkas. It's very easy to do!!! She gave them to all of us for Christmas gifts which I thought was kind of neat. She made me a cranberry/vanilla vodka which was yummy. Might be kind of fun to try for summer? Maybe try infusing a vodka with your favorite melons or peach? Dang! I think this may be worth a shot. HEHE!!!!

No kidding! I have partied many times in the city of Houston and still have close friends that live there, although my favorite Texas city is Austin. If I had to pick a new city to move to, it would be Austin. And as far as the food goes, as they say back in N'awlins - "yeah you right!" :haha: I have people send me "care" packages of spices and things that I can't find here.

I had a Pina Colada this weekend!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :haha:

I never really liked beer, that was until I was introduced to the Sam Adams flavored beer. Cherry Wheat, Winter Ale, Summer Ale, Black, etc. I was never a daily or weekend drinker, but probably a Sam or two once in a month or so. Or an occasional mixed when out to dinner.

WHEN I used to drink, my drink of choice was always Vodka, good vodka, grey goose or maybe kettle one, poured over a few ice cubes.
I also favored white russians. These days I dont drink or rarely do anyways, I had a beer last week, a single damned beer! It was the first one Id had in over a year.
My standard drink of choice now is a plain ass old coke! classic or cherry.
I often enjoy a mountain dew though, and i couldnt live with out coffee, no creamer! but half a spoon of sugar is a must!

White Russian...
2 oz Vodka
2 oz Kahlua
2 oz heavy whipping cream
Of course milk could be used in a pinch or Half and Half.

toss in a couple of ice cubes, good to go.
IN summer i used to drink alot of frosted russians, same thing but skip the cream and toss it in a blender with vanilla ice cream like a milk shake.

Good Vodka (not the cheap stuff) makes a great shot. Alex was the one who told me how to do Vodka the right way.... I asked him how they did it in Russia after I bought some high dollar Vodka in Idaho last year (FWIW: Idaho distills some fine vodka's).

Right now he's probably buying her some Fruity little drink 'cause she can't shoot whiskey
Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool-stick showing her how to shoot a combo

I drink far too much Diet Coke. Hate sugary pop - leaves a terrible aftertaste for me.

Strong beer. No, strong beer. No, really, strong beer. 9 to 11%.

Tequila - mmmm. I often take a little backpacking with me - nothing like it for waking up and hitting the trail. One of these days I need to take margarita mix along, too, and utilize some of that snow all around.

Pepper vodka. Sipping hot - really hot - vodka is a fantastical relaxation exercise.

That Baskin Robbins drink makes me sick just to think about...
