There is a group of Ogden area riders trying to start a dialog with Weber pathways in order to resolve some issues pertaining to MTB access and trail construction. There have been several battles surrounding illegal trail building in the area (think 22nd street) and we'd like to create a mature discussion and hopefully a permanent solution for all parties. The construction of permanent dh/fr trails and a skills park are something we think is attainable. In order to be taken seriously it's paramount that local riders become involved on the local level not only to support the established groups but to lend credibility to our efforts to bring MTB specific projects to fruition. WAFTA www.wafta.com is on board with us as is the Bikers Edge shop in Kaysville. We welcome all area riders to do whatever you can to show that there is indeed a responsible and active group in the area that deserves representation.

Greetings, Weber Pathways Trail Workers!
We will move our trail maintenance efforts back to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail this week. This time, meet at Frank's Auto, 1540 North Mountain Road, in North Ogden. Please park on the street and not in Frank's Auto' lot.
We will be working on the Tunnel Mountain section of the trail this week, working to make improvements on this new section so that it is mountain bikable. Bring work gloves and water. We'll supply the tools.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: This Friday, May 16, Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor will be holding a sample sale. Great prices on great products! Location: 225 E 20th Street in Ogden; 10am to 7pm.
