I live in Tooele, and Middle canyon still has the gates closed to traffic, but you can walk up the road. I headed up there for walk last Sunday with the 4 year old and the bride. about half a mile up there was a couch in a ditch some scum bag tossed out sometime last fall.
I considered hauling it up and parking it on the road in hopes that when they open the road and come to clear all the rocks from slides over winter off they would pick it up. now I think I need to return with rope and some help and hang it from a tree in one of the picnic areas just to see if it disappears or stays over the summer.
