View Full Version : Larry Miller's Religion = Headline News

This article is from NBA.com (who apparently borrowed it from the AP).
On the one hand I can't understand the media's fascination with Miller wanting to live his religion as best he can. On the other hand, he is the owner of a franchise that endorses activities that clash with his personal beliefs.
Apparently, his wife doesn't share his same level of devotion to her religion (unless she isn't a Mormon). :haha:

According to the article, Larry's Mother's Day gift will be an empty house while he drives around alone in the west desert leaving his wife to watch the game solo. :lol8:

he should join my church....... church of nascar. LOL
we got nascar raceday built by the home depot on speed.
the opening ceremonies with prayer and national anthem
then we crank it up all day for the race. and victory lane..
so who wants to join?
:roflol: :lol8:
The real reason is because he doesn't want to hear how crappy they are playing and how LA is like the Jazz's big brother. No matter how old or good you get you can never beat them, it's more psychological. My guess is they won't make it to game 4. Isn't it 3 games to win?

Wow such a strong opinion on how bad the Jazz are and you apparently don't even follow basketball? It is a 7 game series, and I will be there at the home games!!! :2thumbs: I hate LA and the Jazz do need to pull there heads out of there ASSES!! for this game and I expect them to win tonight.
I expect them to win tonight.

Amen brother!
Besides, they hold a non specific church service in the in field for the fans and crew that feel church is still important on race day.
I hesitated typing "don't bet on it" because I knew if I did they would win. So in that mentality... They suck and they will never win the series against LA.

Back to the original headline... Why is it such big news? He did the same thing back when they went up against the Bulls, who did shatter their dreams. I would like to see the Jazz win, but I just don't think it's going to happen.
Unless of course Kobe's back is hurting again.
Kobe always seems to be hurting somewhere when he doesn't have a good game. Maybe if he didn't flop so easy, he wouldn't be hurting so much.

I have had a pew reserved in this church since the 70's...... I assume you also have the team radio's broadcast over the web to your laptop that is keeping real time track of timing and scoring.
It's like listening to God. :2thumbs:
