Police need help identifying pranksters
April 15th, 2008 @ 12:32pm

(KSL News) Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three men who put human feces in a 7-Eleven store's microwave.

The incident happened on March 23 at the 7-Eleven located at 2175 E. 9400 S. in Sandy. Surveillance images show one of the males carrying a one-gallon plastic baggie containing human feces.

One of the males placed the baggie into the microwave and set the timer for 10 minutes. Then all three suspects left the store.

The bag subsequently exploded, ruining the microwave and costing approximately $3,500 in damage. Police say the store had to be aired out for a long period of time, causing lost profits.

If you have any information on who these individuals are, please contact Sandy police at 840-4000.

That is an expensive microwave

Ahh.... That makes sense. I thought it was saying the microwave actually exploded, and the shrapnal created the damage. It makes more sense that the Microwave was just expensive.

Actually I was joking, I thought I put one of these on. :lol8: I wonder how the damage cost that much, price of microwave? Did the microwave explode? Or is it replacement damage, clean up damange, lost revenue damages, etc?

I saw an update on this on the news a night or two ago.
that micro did indeed cost 3500 dollars! thinking holy hell! I did some research and a 1700 watt pro microwave (not your wal mart special) does cost about 1200 dollars, the news said it cost 3500 to replace just the microwave and didn't include lost revenue for airing it out time.
While disgusting, I also laughed! It is something I would of done in my younger days.
But I grew up in a tiny town, we had to think up disgusting horrid things to do to keep from going insane in a town where the only thing that happened was us!
Now the only thing that happens in that same small town is wal-mart. Not as tiny any more, but still boring as hell!
I moved for a while, but alas am back in that same podunk hole that I grew up in, need to get out again.
