site is legit. clark howard has mentioned this site on his radio show several times. i submitted an app to the secretary of the treasury in kansas. got back $13 i'd left in a junction city bank back in 1968. i alerted an aunt and she got substantically more from the state of nj.

you don't actually have to sent anything on line if you prefer not to. you can simply mail an app to the state that might be holding funds in your name.
